First Fridays

This post is going out to my local friends. I am helping a friend promote First Fridays at the Solid Grounds Coffee Shop in Spotsylvania. It is located in the same shopping center as The Pear Tree next to the Courthouse and Robert E Lee Elementary. It is a cute and cozy coffeshop with a great breakfast, lunch and dinner menu, they also have really delicious desserts. On the first Friday of each month the Solid Grounds hosts an open mike night for local talent. They primarily showcase Christian music acts although there is also a comedian booked for tonight's show. My daughter, Sarah, will be the opening act! She will be singing and playing guitar with Jay Nesmith. So if you are looking for a way to unwind and relax after a stressful week, come support a local business and join us! We would love to see you! It begins at 7:00 but come early for a good seat, it can get crowded fast!
