Sunday's Words for the Week

Thanks to all those who came out for our last Connect, Collaborate and Create event in Northern Virginia. What a great crowd! We were thrilled with the turn out and all that we were able to share and accomplish. We will be going south to the Richmond area for our next one sometime in mid June.

This Sunday's words stem from our conversations at our 3C Event last week.

Challenges are what makes life interesting and overcoming them is what makes life meaningful. #Quotes #Challenges
With so many first rate teachers retreating from the classroom, it was great to connect with fellow educators who are not yet ready to wave the white flag and give up the good fight.

Yes, challenges abound in our schools and classrooms and so our children need us more than ever.
I am so hopeful and believe together we can overcome.

Sunday's Words for the Week

Ralph Waldo Emerson

OK, here is one such opportunity... the "Blood Moon", a complete lunar eclipse,  happens this coming week on April 15. This lunar event will be the first in a series of four- called a tetrad. They will occur throughout this year and next in six month intervals. NASA confirms that the tetrad has only happened three times in the last 500 years!

You can check out the blood moon in the overnight hours from at about 2 am Eastern time. It should  last about 3 hours.
Have your camera ready to snap pictures of this must-see rare cosmic event!

If you sleep through it, Space.com plans on having coverage of it...so head here for more information
