Sunday's Words for the Week

It really is that simple.
I was in a class for most of the weekend so I  took another sacred Sunday to feed my soul.  For all those asking and wondering, yes, I am still teaching and will be back with some school related posts sometime soon.

Sunday's Words for the Week

Burnt  offerings.
Burned to a crisp.
Burned beyond recognition.
Burned alive.
Burned out.
I ran across these words as I was rereading Simple Abundance by Sarah Ban Breathnach.
We are just passed the halfway point in our school year and many teachers have let their candle burn at both ends for far  too long.  I know I have.
We must be careful for as the saying will not last the night.
In an effort to keep my offerings from getting charred, I've put a new ban on working on Sundays.
Sacred Sunday...a day to recharge, renew, reclaim my soul.
How about you?  Do you ever give yourself a complete day off?
Blow that candle out for a bit and see what happens.
Would love to hear from you.
